Joni Burton

Joni Burton, is a Certified Professional Career Coach and seasoned Senior Management Executive experienced in for profit and nonprofit management. In her role as CEO of JVS Careers, Burton manages all administration and programs for the organization and has implemented a new strategic plan and social enterprise for Recruiting, Executive Coaching and Outplacement services. Additionally, Burton is co-managing a community wide talent management initiative to attract and retain talent to work for organizations in the Cincinnati Jewish Community.

Prior to joining JVS Careers, Burton served as CEO of ERB Solutions, a permanent placement and staffing company that assisted organizations in recruiting top-notch talent. Previous to this, Burton was President of Trasys, Area Director for CIBER, and Area Vice President for Whittman-Hart where she was instrumental in taking the firm from an unknown consultancy to one of the leading firms in the country.

Burton holds a Certificate in Jewish Leadership from Northwestern University and Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership and has a Bachelor of Science Degree from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.

Burton is married to husband John and has 2 grown daughters, Erica and Rachel. In her free time she enjoys traveling.
