Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) Advocacy Intern
The JCRC develops meaningful relationships with ethnic, religious, civic, business and academic leaders and strengthens ties with our policy makers. We collaborate on initiatives focusing on the mutual enhancement and vitality of the diverse constituencies of Cincinnati. We advocate for the priorities of the local Jewish community.
Job Description/Duties
The JCRC Advocacy Intern will partner with the Director and Assistant Director for a variety of purposes, such as: assisting in response to incidents of antisemitism, developing tools for combating antisemitism in schools, researching areas of activity for educational outreach in the Cincinnati area, and engaging in interfaith/interracial collaboration.
Education Major/Career Interests
Those of any educational focus are welcome to apply. We especially encourage application from those who have a background in the humanities or public affairs and those who are interested in working in community organizing, politics, Jewish professional life, or in education.
