Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) Intern

The Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) is the non-partisan, public affairs arm of the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati. Our mission recognizes that Jewish well-being depends on a just society for all. We concentrate our efforts on relationship building, combating antisemitism and hate, government affairs, and Israel education.

Position Responsibilities

The JCRC Intern works in collaboration with the JCRC Director and Associate Director to further the organization’s goals in community relations, cross-community partnerships, educational offerings, public policy, and response to antisemitic incidents in greater Cincinnati. Job duties can include:

  • Attending weekly team meetings to strategize short and long term organizational goals
  • Managing database of interfaith and cross-cultural partners, including strategizing around key partnerships to build or maintain
  • Facilitating Jewish community involvement in local civic events, including Cincinnati Pride and Juneteenth Celebrations
  • Evaluating and updating JCRC educational materials
  • Speaking about antisemitism, Israel, and Jewish identity when needed
  • Occasional work with Federation Marketing department to manage JCRC social media
