A Workum Business Development Intern at JVS Careers will learn a great deal about researching perspective clients, generate and build relationships, and better understand the sales process.  While working at JVS Careers, the Business Development Intern will learn about how to form business development strategies and implement initiatives.  They will participate in committee meetings and have input in brainstorming sessions.  This person will assist the Business Development department in various ways, including data entry, lead generation, and creating presentations.

Intern tasks may include:

• Assist with various projects throughout the summer in support of driving new business opportunities for the organization
• Partner with marketing department to articulate the needs of the business development team in order to produce the appropriate materials needed to generate new opportunities of revenue
• Develop a working knowledge of the employer features that JVS Careers offers
• Expand on existing database of potential clients that the Director of Business Development can contact
• Reach out of organizations to discover decision making contacts to generate leads
• Participate in meetings to help Business Development initiatives get implemented
