Patty van Gilse
Patty van Gilse joined the JVS Careers team as a job coach and is part of the disabilities services team that the agency is developing. In this role Patty will be supporting persons that are neurodiverse and work with them in their workplace. She will support clients on their jobs, teaching them job tasks and assisting them in integration into their employment roles, so that they can experience long term employment success. Patty has a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education from the University of Cincinnati and has spent most of her career working in the school systems supporting students with disabilities. She has been a job coach for other non-profit agencies so comes to JVS Careers with a background and knowledge of the disabilities services field.
